Gate of Alamut has been the leading tour operator and tourist information center for Alamut Valley and province of Qazvin in Iran.
Starting from 2010, I did my best to promote the Valley of Assassins and create a database, special for the foreign tourists who are willing to visit and spend some time in Alamut Valley. We perform different tours as for the Castles of the Assassins, trekking, village life and adventure tours in Alamut Valley.

I am Hosein Farhady, founder of Gate of Alamut.
As the first official guide and the tour operator to Alamut Valley,
I am specialized in presenting the Castles of the Assassins and the Order of the Assassins.
I established the first English blog about Alamut Valley and Qazvin and this has been an on-going process since 2010.
Up to now, I have performed over 1000 days of tours all for foreign tourists in Alamut Valley.

When my tours are needed, I have other friends and families helping performing the tour, abling me to give good quality services.
I like to share the tour tasks with other guides (friends) and families. So, when we are busy, I work with over 5 taxi and minivan drivers, 5 restaurants, 5 hotels/hostels/ecolodges/
I am a husband and a father of two children.
I graduated from language college and also from law college. However, my language learning was more of a self-study process.
I love my country, its culture, people, history, and art. I know my region and my country’s past and present situation.
I will happily and proudly share my knowledge with you during my tours.
