Canyoning in Alamut Valley, a Cool Adventure!

Alamut Valley has a lot to do in it. From Hiking, trekking and camping to Canyoning, mountaineering and caving.

The canyoning in Alamut can be done both technically i.e requiring special mountaineering and canyoning facilities and being doable for special range of people and generally which the majority of tourists can have it and no need for special equipment.

No matter which type you choose, both can only be done during summer time. The season which snow has melted enough and the level of the river is low enough and from the other side, the raining and snowing of new season has not started yet.

I have mentioned in the previous posts and also a lot on different websites that to visit the Valley of the Assassins you can rent a car or taxi who is not a guide and apparently you will save up some money. But at this field (Canyoning), please do not risk your life to save up some euros. You must go (if you will!) with a guide who is experienced enough in both options, otherwise it is like paragliding with a person who is not a coach!!
