Trekking in Alamut Valley

Trekking in Alamut Valley can be a memorable experience for tourists traveling to Iran.

Alamut is a relatively large valley located on the southern slope of Alborz Mountain Range in the north of Iran. Alborz Ranges is a barrier between the Caspian sea and central Iran; that is why the amount of rain is higher in Caspian sea provinces i.e the Gilan, Mazandaran , and Golestan. These three provinces are also called the Green Belt in Iran.
